The Criteria: What Makes a Good Coworking Space in Panama?
As globe-trotting entrepreneurs, we devote at least nine hours on our laptops per day — even when outside the office! That’s why coworking spaces have become such an important part of our journey, helping turn every trip into an opportunity for work and play.
For these reviews, we took into consideration the following criteria:
- Fast, reliable Wi-Fi
- Comfortable seating and tables suitable for working
- A unique environment with a pleasant ambience
- Natural lighting
- Friendly staff
- Varied options for work locations including with private and shared workspaces
Note: All scores and ratings in this article, including Wi-Fi speeds, are relative to other locations in the city — not worldwide.

Wi-Fi speeds were measured in each location and given a score according to this criteria:
- 1 = Very Slow (< 5 Mbps upload/download)
- 2 = Slow (5-10 Mbps upload/download)
- 3 = Mediocre (11-20 Mbps upload/download)
- 4 = Good (20-50 Mbps upload/download)
- 5 = Fast (> 50 Mbps upload/download)
Quick Reminder for Nomads
There’s no doubt Panama City is the perfect place for productivity. Tall buildings. Great cafes. Plenty of coworking spaces. But we should remember to put the same level of importance on our health and well-being as we’re exploring this dynamic country.
Driving is an adventure here to say the least. The level of road safety is questionable. There are plenty of fun activities but most involve risk. Plus you just never know.
That’s where SafetyWing comes in. Their Nomad Insurance is specifically designed for remote workers like us, covering medical expenses in more than 180 countries. No deductible, no pre-approval. Just a flexible, pay-as-you-go subscription with 24/7 online support.
For me it’s just peace of mind (for me and my parents) for just a few dollars a day. That way I can spend my focus on what’s most important – building my business and exploring the best Panama has to offer.
Finding a great coworking space in Panama with Google ratings alone can be tough. Reviews can be incentivized, or info can be outdated. But not to fret, Flaneur Life has done the due diligence for you! After spending more than 9 months in Panama City over the last two years, we’ve put together an updated list of top spots where digital nomads, remote workers and entrepreneurs alike could get their hustle on.
Without further ado, here are our recommendations for the best coworking spaces in Panama to get stuff done!
Best Coworking Spaces in Panama City
Panama Coworking Center
Panama Coworking Center is vibrant, modern and artistic. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the interior design of the space, right down to the colors. When we visited, the receptionist explained how the different colors were used to evoke different emotions. She explained how the space was designed to inspire creativity and productivity, with natural light and greenery throughout.
The best part about it is that there are tons of options for spaces to work and collaborate, including cafe seating, desk areas, window spaces, couches, private offices, and more. And if you’re looking to relax, there’s a ping pong table in the seminar room. The other location even has a mini golf putting green!
But our favorite part? The internet was the fastest we found anywhere in the city!
Though we didn’t take part, there are even a variety of different talks and regular networking events and workshops for members of the space. You can’t go wrong working from Panama Coworking Center when in Panama City, it surprised us.
Cost per 10-day pass: $150
Google Rating: 4.8
Address: Kenex Plaza, C. Abel Bravo, Panama City
Other Locations:
- Prime Tower, Costa del este Piso 6, Panama City
- Calle Nicanor de Obarrio con C. 77 Este, Panama City
Selina Casco Viejo
When you visit a Selina in any city, you know what you’re going to get. And that’s what we love it.
Selina’s coworking space in Casco Viejo is unique and stylish, and has everything a digital nomad in Panama would need. The building itself is in a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of the charming Casco Viejo neighborhood, and apparently took them two years to refurbish. The coworking space is up on the second floor, and offers a range of amenities, including high-speed internet, ergonomic chairs and desks, meeting rooms, and a communal kitchen all for $10 a day.
We loved the rooftop terrace on top of the building with views of the city, it was the perfect setting for brainstorming and networking with other guests.
Cost per day: $10
Google Rating: 4.4
Address: Esquina de Ave B y Calle 12, Panama City
Works
Works was a chance find in the Torre de las Americas building. It’s brand new and doesn’t seem to have much of an online presence. It was advertised on a poster on the wall of the first floor of the building, so we went upstairs to check it out.
We found out it was founded by the building’s owners, and despite being brand new it had a good number of people working.
It checked all the boxes for us. Cafe? Check. Comfortable chairs? Check. Plenty of workspace options? Check. Ping pong table? Check.
After visiting the others in this list, we found this space to be super welcoming and it was one of our favorites. Be sure to check it out if you’re in the city!
Cost per day: $20 (or 10 passes for $115)
Google Rating: N/A
Address: Torre de las Américas A, Piso 2, Punta Pacifica, Panama City
The Cube Coworking
The Cube Coworking is an impressive workspace located in the heart of Panama City, offering up everything that a digital nomad in Panama might need. Though it doesn’t seem like much when you first walk in the door from the sidewalk, when you go up the escalators you’re greeted with big open-plan work areas, private offices, and meeting rooms.
The Cube has solid internet, though we weren’t as much a fan of the open work space seating when compared to some of our top picks. Overall, the space is designed to encourage collaboration and networking, and they host regular events and workshops on site. You can’t go wrong picking The Cube as your coworking space in Panama City, especially if you’re staying in the area.
Cost per day: $15 (or $60 for a month)
Google Rating: 4.9
Address: Via España, Urbanizacion Via España, Estacion de Metro Iglesia del Carmen Panama, Panama City
Workings
Workings is another option in the Torre de las Américas building nearby Multiplaza in Panama City. The space offers a variety of work areas depending on your work style, including private offices, dedicated desks, and hot desks. Though we preferred the new kid on the block, Works, we still thoroughly enjoyed this coworking space.
Inside, you’ll find a cafe, lockers, and even a terrace with a pretty nice view of the city.
It felt slightly more corporate than some of the other options but if that’s what you’re looking for then this space is ideal!
Cost per 8-day pass: $120
Google Rating: 4.9
Address: Torre de las Américas A, Piso 12, Punta Pacifica, Panama City
Other location: P.H. Dream Plaza, Panama City
Spaces – Plaza 2000
Spaces Plaza 2000 is a modern coworking space located in the financial center of Panama, making it convenient no matter where you’re staying. If you’ve ever visited a Spaces in another city, you more or less know what to expect, but this location impressed.
The internet was lightning fast, the coffee was great, and we loved the big open layout. The decor is very contemporary, and there’s plenty of natural light throughout the whole workspace.
Though Spaces is a more costly option compared to a lot more on this list, it makes sense to grab a membership if you’re traveling often. It makes one of our top picks for digital nomads seeking a professional, modern, and dynamic workspace in Panama City.
Cost per day: $49 (or $270 for a month with unlimited access to any location worldwide)
Google Rating: 4.2
Address: Plaza 2000, C. 50, Panama City
Be Productive Workspaces
Be Productive Workspaces is a popular coworking space located in the north of Panama City. If you’re staying close to immigration or taking care of residency in Panama, it’s a fantastic option.
Staying true to its name, the space offers everything you need to get stuff done — from a creative atmosphere to strong coffee. It has more of a tight-knit community vibe, and everyone there was super friendly. They throw events every month, so if you’re looking to meet locals then this is the space for you.
Cost per day: $15 (or $90 per month)
Google Rating: 5.0
Address: Dorado City Center, Nivel 3 Frente al Pricesmart, Panama City
My Office Panamá
My Office Panamá is more of a private workspace, offering flexible workspace solutions for digital nomads and entrepreneurs. You can call ahead and book a tour or a month there, as the reception won’t always be there to let you in.
Located right across the road from Selina, the space provides a variety of workspace options to suit any needs.
Though not the place to go if you’re looking for networking, if you’re in need of private offices or seminar rooms, this is a top choice in the city due to its private nature. The decor inside is super nice and the workspaces are spacious!
Cost per month: From $99
Google Rating: 4.8
Address: Torre Inteligente Credi Corp Bank, Piso 31, Oficina 3101, C. 50, Panama City

The space offers a variety of workspace options, including private offices, dedicated desks, and hot desks, equipped with high-speed internet and ergonomic furniture. It’s a bit far out of the way, but worth the visit if you’re in the area! You can book a visit on their website.
